Get those journals handy! This time, offer your child this writing challenge. Have your child write a story about Halloween, be it filled with extra candy, funny with silly jack-o-lanterns, or spooky with extra chills. The catch? They cannot use the vowel team “ee” anywhere in their writing. Have your child put on his or her thinking cap for this one! With no mention of Halloween, sweets, or even shouts of, “EEK!,” this is one challenge that should get creative gears turning!
