Reading is the portal for learning other subjects. Breaking down reading and writing into its parts is fundamental to making sure there are no gaps. Our curriculum makes sure a child has all of the pieces to put together the reading puzzle. Home-School Navigator has what readers need.

Here's how our Happy Parents talk about Home School Navigator
The Home School Navigator is an exceptional resource! The preschool activities on the website are very well written, easy to follow and weave beautifully into a young child's natural desire for creative play. The materials needed to introduce each lesson are simple and readily available at home. My four year old is always eager to participate in each of the fun and engaging activities. This curriculum encourages children to apply pre-writing concepts beyond the lessons and to use their imagination to allow pre-writing ideas and skills to flourish! After participating in this curriculum, I often see my child 'writing' on her own as she adds descriptions to her drawings or makes lists of various things that interest her throughout the day. The activities on the Home School Navigator website are truly inspiring to young children!
Mrs. Strock put Naomi at ease right away with a conversation about butterflies: one of my daughter's favorite topics. The informal reading evaluation was brief and non-threatening. Afterward, Mrs. Strock explained simply to my daughter something she did well in her reading, and a way she can improve. The evaluation revealed to me a hole in my reading instruction and a simple solution.
My daughter and I thought the word work videos were simple and clear to understand. These short engaging clips helped us play with letters and sounds to make words. They were challenging too. When we needed more time to think, we just paused the video to solve the challenge. After we completed them, we were inspired to do more of our own. Thanks, Beth!
Beth completed our Narrative assessment for this year, and I was very pleased with the process. The time she spent talking with my child was wonderful, it helped to bring a little bit of accountability for my child, as well as a chance to display her best work. Her insights helped me to set goals for our upcoming home school year, and refocus on the larger picture.
As a former teacher, Beth provided me with feedback and tips and tricks to solve some of my current challenges. I so appreciate having someone to come along side me in this homeschooling adventure. Thanks Beth!
