Home School Navigator wants to celebrate World Teacher’s Day by celebrating all of you hard working parents out there who are educating your children at home. You are working tirelessly and we salute all of you! We’d like to introduce someone who we feel represents the hardworking moms and dads who are keeping their children’s education going during these challenging times. Our featured mom is Lena and she is a busy mom of 4. When she was asked to be highlighted in this post, she humbly replied, “That is such a kind gesture but I don’t think I’m worthy of such recognition- especially this year with everything falling apart. I can definitely suggest some incredible mamas for this though!”
Lena does not give herself enough credit! This is exactly the kind of mom we love to highlight. She wakes up everyday wanting the best for her children. We believe she is VERY WORTHY of being recognized for all of the wonderful ways that she shows up for her family and wanted to give her a shout out for her momentous effort! From helping everyone stay on task to whisking everyone off to fun and educational field trips, Lena is rocking her homeschool mom job title!
We would also like to encourage you as well.
Take a moment and think about all the things that have gone well so far this school year. Focus on what you can do and what is going well, not on your struggles. Focusing on what is going well and staying positive will also rub off on your children. So celebrate your successes (no matter how small!) and simply keep going. We are all in this together!
