- Month 6: Biographies/Autobiographies
- Month 7: Author Study of Allen Say
- Month 8: Poetry
- Month 9: Realistic Fiction
Each month covers topics that improve literature comprehension, reading skills, writing skills, grammar, and vocabulary skills. This course is designed so that Fifth Grade students have a solid foundation in reading and writing and will become successful readers and writers.
